ASA Database: a spreadsheet where you can sort my ASA style patterns by size, price, smallest square needed, largest square needed, finished size (in inches, centimeters, and compared to your 3-round square), if it works well with random scraps, and exclude patterns that call for specific square sizes.
YouTube: find video tutorials for crochet and simple loom knitting
Newsletter Sign Up: be the first to hear about new pattern releases, new video tutorials, and sales (including some exclusive to newsletter subscribers!). Expect around 2 or 3 emails per month, on average. Every email will have a large unsubscribe link at the end, because I, personally, hate trying find those in the fine print!
Discord: I set up this discord server primarily for those who can't (or won't) use Ravelry but want to participate in my Crochet-Alongs. It's quiet most of the time, and I never use the @everyone or similar tags.
BlueSky: I post on BlueSky when I release a new pattern or video, and usually participate in Caturday (posting a picture of one of my cats on Saturdays)
I live and work in Canada, use a refurbished computer purchased locally in Calgary, and rely on free, open-source software for all of my design, layout, and image work. Keeping things local, accessible, and low-overhead lets me focus on what matters most: designing good patterns that actually work.
The physical samples shown in photos are used for demonstration only and are not products for sale. The yarn for samples is always purchased in Canada. Due to allergies and design requirements, this yarn is sometimes manufactured outside Canada (most commonly in Turkey). Many finished samples are donated to charity, and occasionally a tester’s sample photo is used with permission.
